CEE Legal Matters – a print and online publication for and about lawyers working in and interested in the CEE region – has announced its 2025 Deal of the Year nominations, with five TEGOS-led deals recognised among transactions shaping some of the most important developments in the Baltic region.
Nominated deals across jurisdictions:
Lithuania
- Tele2 and Global Communications Infrastructure Tower Infrastructure Joint Venture – the largest telecom infrastructure deal in Baltic history: a EUR 560M partnership creating the first pan-Baltic tower company and reshaping the region’s network future. A joint project by lawyers from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, which was also nominated in the Estonian jurisdiction.
- ILTE’s securitisation and green bond issuance to EBRD, NIB & Swedbank – a landmark EUR 160M residential modernisation securitisation, among the largest of its kind in Lithuania and the first securitisation-based notes ever listed on Nasdaq Vilnius.
- Baltic States’ synchronisation with the Continental Europe electricity network – a historic regional milestone and the largest Baltic energy project in 25 years, marking true energy independence and strengthening security across the entire region.
Estonia
- Lendurai’s EUR 5.5M investment round with Expeditions Fund, HCVC & Vsquared Ventures – a key step in advancing autonomous drone technology, supporting Europe’s technological sovereignty and resilience in GPS-challenged environments.
Latvia
- Latvenergo’s inaugural EUR 400M 5-year EU green bond issuance – a major milestone in sustainable finance, supporting the energy transition at both national and regional scale.
While each deal stands on its own merit, together they reveal clear market priorities across the Baltics: strengthening critical infrastructure, unlocking innovative financing solutions, advancing energy independence, and supporting long-term regional resilience.
Thank you to our clients for their trust, and congratulations to the teams behind these deals.
