TEGOS arbitration team has once again been ranked in the GAR 100 (19th edition, 2026) – Global Arbitration Review’s prestigious guide to the world’s leading international arbitration firms. This marks the fourth time TEGOS arbitration practice has been included in the GAR 100, reaffirming its standing in the international arbitration community.
The recognition reflects the team’s continued work on complex international and commercial arbitration matters, as well as its long-standing commitment to excellence in dispute resolution. Inclusion in the GAR 100 is the result of extensive independent research, assessing firms’ experience, reputation, and track record both as counsel and as arbitrators.
Arbitration has been an integral part of TEGOS identity since the firm was established 30 years ago by Eugenija Sutkienė, former head of the Lithuanian Trade Ministry’s legal department. From the outset, the firm has been closely involved in significant arbitration matters, laying a strong foundation for what has become one of its core practices.
The arbitration practice was further strengthened in 2003 with the arrival of Vilius Bernatonis, an established arbitrator and the firm’s current managing partner in Lithuania. Since then, the team has continued to grow, advising on a wide range of high‑value and strategically important disputes.
The team’s experience also extends to representing a diverse portfolio of international clients, including Philip Morris, Mars, Avia, Merck, Turkish Airlines, Tele2, Operail, Swedbank, and Credit Suisse. In addition, TEGOS has represented ministries and agencies of the governments of Latvia and Estonia, further underscoring its regional expertise and cross‑border capabilities.
The GAR 100 listing highlights firms that demonstrate sustained excellence in international arbitration, based on detailed research into the matters they handle and the roles they play in arbitral proceedings. For TEGOS, this latest recognition confirms both the depth of its arbitration expertise and the trust placed in the team by public and private sector clients alike.
Being recognised in the GAR 100 for the fourth time is a meaningful acknowledgment of the team’s work and its enduring role in the international arbitration landscape.
