TEGOS has been granted the status of Certified Advisor in Latvia on the First North market

Nasdaq announces that the law firm TEGOS (formerly TGS Baltic) Latvia has been granted the status of a Certified Adviser in Latvia on the First North market by Nasdaq Riga as of January 2, 2025. Prior to this for several years TEGOS Latvia has been providing Certified Advisor services through TEGOS office in Estonia.

The role of the Certified Advisor is to guide the company through the application process, helping it meet all the First North rules and regulations, and generally also after listing to help it ensure ongoing compliance: in reporting, disclosure, and so on.

The new status allows TEGOS Latvian experts to guide growth companies in Latvia through the Firth North application process and ensure they meet the market’s requirements continuously.

Inese Hazenfusa, partner, head of Banking & Finance practice group comments: “The decision to become a Certified Advisor on the First North market was a logical step in advancing our practice’s offer for the clients – entrepreneurs intending to attract growth capital, promote their visibility and strengthen their reputation.”

Nasdaq Riga is the only regulated secondary securities market in Latvia. It maintains regulated, open and efficient market infrastructure.

The exchange provides companies with an efficient channel to raise capital and to facilitate the participation of institutional and private investors in primary offerings and secondary trading.
