Technology accelerator Tesonet is investing EUR 2 million in Lithuanian sports technology startup FPRO.
FPRO is expanding its operations internationally, aiming to provide a technology-driven solution for youth football training – addressing the global shortage of qualified coaches.
This is FPRO’s first external investment, marking a new phase of growth: expanding professional youth football training opportunities globally using smart technologies.
This investment is not Tesonet’s first investment in the sports vertical. In 2022, Tesonet became one of the shareholders of Kaunas Žalgiris, contributing to the club’s digital transformation and commercial development. In 2024, it invested in the London Lions basketball club, aiming to promote talent development and strengthen the club’s international competitiveness.
Tesonet was advised on all legal matters by TEGOS (formerly TGS Baltic) associate partner Paulius Dabulskis, associate Paulius Žalnieraitis, and legal assistant Meda Stankutė.
