Eurobank and Inbank establish strategic embedded finance joint venture

TEGOS advised Eurobank S.A. on the Estonian law aspects of its strategic 50/50 joint venture with Inbank Holdings OÜ, a subsidiary of AS Inbank, to establish a new embedded finance platform in Greece.

The joint venture combines Eurobank’s market presence and funding capabilities with Inbank’s technology platform and embedded finance expertise to offer Buy Now Pay Later, sales finance and consumer lending products in the Greek market.

Acting as Estonian law counsel to Eurobank, TEGOS advised on the Estonian law aspects of the transaction, including the review and analysis of the joint venture documentation. The transaction reflects the growing collaboration between established European banking groups and fintech companies in the rapidly evolving embedded finance sector.

The licensing process with the Bank of Greece is currently underway, with the commercial launch of the joint venture expected in the first quarter of 2027.
