The content of the work was the development of an interdisciplinary legal concept related to the provision of public services.
On behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications (MKM), a comprehensive analysis was carried out, the aim of which was to develop a comprehensive cross-sectoral legal concept to improve the performance of public services.
The study focused on how to ensure the smooth and legal functioning of proactive services and event services, taking into account both the current regulatory restrictions and the need to change legislation. During the analysis, the current regulations were thoroughly evaluated and the main restrictions that could prevent the automation and user-friendly provision of services were identified. Special attention was paid to issues related to the protection of personal data in order to ensure the protection of citizens’ privacy as well as the safe and legal processing of data.
The results of the study provide important input for planning further legal and practical steps to make public services more accessible to people, more responsive and more efficient.
The TGS Baltic team included counsel and senior associate Indrek Kukk.
