Rainer Urmas Maine

Rainer Urmas Maine is an associate specialising in banking and finance, capital markets and regulatory issues. He also advises on legal matters related to blockchain and crypto-assets, with in-depth knowledge of decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs) and their regulation under Estonian law.

Rainer holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of Tartu, where he focused his thesis on DAOs. His professional background includes internships at the Ministry of Justice, Tartu Circuit Court, and other law firms, along with committee work at Tallinn Prison and the University of Tartu.

In his free time, Rainer likes to play basketball and chess, and he also follows all kinds of racing.
