Jonas Šalna

Jonas Šalna is a Senior Associate and Attorney-at-Law with over 10 years of experience in competition (antitrust) law and regulatory matters.

He advises both international and domestic clients on complex, multijurisdictional merger control cases, competition authority investigations, and competition litigation. Jonas has a strong track record representing clients in some of the most significant merger control proceedings in the region.

He also counsels on a wide range of antitrust and compliance issues, including the development and implementation of corporate competition compliance programmes. A graduate of King’s College London, Jonas has completed an internship at Latham & Watkins in Brussels, combining strong academic credentials with hands-on experience in EU competition law.

His practical insight is further strengthened by his earlier role at the Lithuanian Competition Council, where he worked on merger control matters–providing him with a deep understanding of regulatory expectations and internal processes.

Outside of work, Jonas is a passionate football enthusiast.
