Canadian aerospace and defense company Volatus Aerospace (“Volatus”) has agreed to acquire AISPECO, a Lithuanian geospatial systems manufacturer and portfolio company of Superhero Capital.
The transaction is valued at $10.5 million. Upon completion, Volatus will own 100% of the Vilnius-based company. The transaction will open up new opportunities for AISPECO to expand into international markets, including the defense and security sectors.
Founded in 2020 in Vilnius, AISPECO develops and manufactures advanced geospatial systems for aircraft and helicopters. The company’s technologies are used for the inspection of power grids, gas pipelines, and transport infrastructure, as well as for forest inventory and urban mapping. To date, AISPECO has sold around 50 systems to customers across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, and Australia.
Superhero Capital backed AISPECO in 2022 and 2024, investing more than EUR 2.5 million alongside other investors and supporting the company’s growth journey.
TEGOS Legal advised Superhero Capital, together with the other existing investors, on this exit transaction, with Associate Partner Paulius Dabulskis leading the advisory work.
