TGS Baltic client HeavyFinance, in partnership with Multitude Bank and backed by the EIF’s Sustainability Guarantee, is bringing more than €17.5 million to finance farmers in Lithuania and Poland, helping them embrace climate-positive practices, modernise equipment, and build a greener future.
This funding was structured through a securitization vehicle, enabling us to offer competitive financing terms to farmers. Additionally, the securitisation structure allowed reaching lower borrowing costs, enhancing financial accessibility.
HeavyFinance is a platform that connects small and medium-sized farmers with a global investor community to generate soil carbon credits.
