Our client Evernord Asset Management has obtained a management company licence under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), expanding the scope of services it can provide and creating new opportunities for future growth.
Until now, Evernord Asset Management operated under a licence issued pursuant to the Lithuanian Law on Collective Investment Undertakings Intended for Informed Investors. The newly obtained AIFMD licence marks an important milestone in the company’s development, enabling it to continue managing funds for informed investors while also establishing and managing investment funds for retail investors investing in real estate and securities. In addition, the licence authorises the provision of individual portfolio management services.
Evernord Asset Management manages a diversified investment portfolio across the Baltic States, Scandinavia and Spain. Its funds focus on commercial and residential real estate development, income-generating real estate assets, as well as European high-yield debt securities and mixed investment strategies.
TEGOS advised Evernord Asset Management throughout the AIFM licensing process, covering all legal and regulatory aspects of the project. The team included Karolina Lapinskaitė, Gabija Sokolovaitė, Agnius Pilipavicius, Lina Mileškevičienė and Kajus Pakėnas.
