The firm’s M&A team, led by partner Ants Mailend, represented Spark Asset Management in the process of selling its shares in Konesko, a mechanical engineering company, to Konecranes Finance, a leading company in the global lifting business.
Konesko is the largest manufacturer of electric motors in Estonia, currently employing over 300 people.
Konecranes is a leading supplier of equipment to industrial lifting businesses, offering a full range of advanced lifting solutions to many different industries worldwide. Konecranes operates in 48 countries and is listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki stock exchange. The group’s sales for 2012 amounted to 2170 million euros.
