The firm’s corporate law team led by Sander Kärson has advised Cloutex, an Estonian startup that has raised nearly half a million euros from private and corporate investors in order to engage in product development and expand into the U.S.
Cloutex offers a cloud technology-based platform to small and medium-sized businesses to synchronise their customer and financial software. “Up till now, in cases where cloud services were used for a company’s accounting, warehouse systems and customer management, any change in client data had to be entered manually in the different programmes,” explained Peeter Mark, one of the founders of the company. “We’re offering a solution that integrates different software programmes and allows for the easy transfer of data between service providers for a modest fee.”
The firm assisted Cloutex on issues related to raising the investment and employee motivation packages.
