TEGOS (formerly TGS Baltic) advised Dawn Capital, Europe’s leading B2B software investor, as the lead investor in the EUR 45 million Series B funding round of Blackwall (formerly Botguard). Existing investor MMC Ventures also participated in the round.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Estonia, Blackwall is a globally operating cybersecurity company that provides state-of-the-art, easy-to-integrate online protection tools for businesses. The company serves clients and partners in more than 30 countries. With the new funding, Blackwall plans to double its headcount, accelerate growth in the U.S. and APAC regions, and strengthen its global channel partnerships.
Dawn Capital, with $2 billion in total commitments, invests in early-stage B2B software companies and supports them on their journey to becoming global category leaders. Its notable investments include companies like Mimecast and iZettle.
TEGOS provided legal support to Dawn Capital on all Estonian law matters, from conducting legal due diligence to assisting with negotiating and drafting the transaction documents.
