Advising one of the biggest fuel retail undertakings in Estonia Circle K in filing a complaint to the European Commission with regard to potential unlawful state aid deriving from the statistics trading system enforced by the Estonian Liquid Fuel Act.
The case also included representation in the Ministry of Finance, in the Ministry of Justice and in the Parliament of Estonia. The case is of huge importance because the potentially illegal state aid affects the way the whole liquid fuel retail market in Estonia operates.
The firm also advised Circle K on matters relating to state aid, competition law and constitutional law.
