Ignitis Group successfully issued its inaugural EUR 300 million, five-year European Green Bond (EuGB).
The issuance attracted strong demand from institutional investors across Europe, with the following key terms:
- Maturity: 5 years (due 27 October 2031)
- Fixed annual coupon: 4.500%
As a testament to the credit quality of the Group, the transaction received strong support from a broad and diversified institutional investors base across Europe and beyond. The final order book exceeded EUR 1.0 billion, representing an oversubscription ratio of 3.3 times with participation from more than 80 investors.
An amount equivalent to the gross proceeds from the issuance of the Notes will be used to finance and/or refinance, in whole or in part, fixed assets, capital expenditures and operating expenditures.
The Notes are admitted to trading on the regulated markets of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Vilnius, and to be displayed on the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX).
The TEGOS Legal team – Dalia Augaitė, Mantas Gofmanas, Agnė Pimpytė, Lukas Stankevičius, Nortautas Zenevičius, Augustinas Razumas, and Paulius Žaliauskas – advised Ignitis Group on the transaction.
