TEGOS partners Martti Peetsalu and Triin Kaurov led the working group responsible for drafting amendments to the Estonian Merchant Shipping Act. The amendments were adopted by the Estonian Parliament in 2023 and were aimed at increasing the competitiveness of Estonia’s maritime sector and ship registry.
The project represents one of the most significant legislative developments in Estonian maritime law in recent years.
