Supporting community initiatives: TEGOS meets with Hospiss LV Foundation co‑founder Ilze Zosule

A person begins life confused, fragile and deeply dependent on others. Similar parallels can often be drawn at the final stage of life. A compassionate society must ensure that these final steps are taken with dignity, security and as much comfort as possible.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Ilze Zosule, co‑founder of the Hospiss LV Foundation, to our office. Ilze shared the organisation’s mission, its achievements over six years of dedicated work, and the day‑to‑day reality of supporting terminally ill patients and their families.

One of the foundation’s most ambitious plans is the establishment of an inpatient hospice facility in Jūrmala. It is this meaningful project that TEGOS has chosen to support through charitable donations, reflecting our belief that a dignified end of life is a shared responsibility of society.

During the discussion, Ilze also introduced the Hospiss LV volunteer movement and highlighted opportunities for anyone willing to contribute, care and make a difference.
