The Latvian chapter was authored by Vladlena Rudusāne, who provides a clear and practice-oriented overview of Latvia’s FDI screening framework, the applicable regulatory and supervisory landscape, and the key legal considerations relevant to foreign investors. The chapter highlights the scope of FDI controls, notification and approval processes, competent authorities, and enforcement aspects, offering valuable guidance for structuring and executing investments in Latvia.
