TEGOS acted as trademark counsel to Parm Trade, advising on and executing the prosecution and strategic management of its global trademark portfolio. Our work included comprehensive clearance analyses for
- national registration in Lithuania and for EU-wide registration (EUIPO); and
- coordination of parallel filing and prosecution activities in the United Kingdom and United States.
Specifically, TEGOS helped the client to developed and implemented a filing strategy aligned with Parm Trade’s commercial objectives and brand rollout plans. The firm was also involved in pre-litigation negotiations with owners of trademarks that posed potential risk of opposition and managed to settle all without opposition / cancelation.
