Our team advised on regulatory issues related to the removal of pieces of art and antiques from Latvia and return thereof. We also assisted in preparing the documents for establishing legal relationship with the German museum.
The Purvītis Museum achieves a miracle
Purvītis’ work “Latvian Girl” has successfully returned to Latvia and is currently on display at the Vilhelms Purvītis Museum, becoming a central asset that strengthens Latvia’s cultural identity.
“The seemingly simple task of bringing the missing painting to Latvia turned out to be a complicated and cumbersome procedure. We are grateful to our friends and organisations for support and belief! Without additional help, this incredible story would not have been possible,” says Žanete Grende, Chair of the Board of the Purvītis Museum.
